Updated WalkWorks route in Easton

Just 30 minutes of exercise a day can do so many good things for your body like lower blood pressure, help control blood sugar, stimulate the mind, and much more. Walking is a great aerobic activity that almost anyone can do.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health has created a network of fun, fact-filled, community-based walking routes and walking groups through the WalkWorks program which:

  • Identifies and promotes safe walking routes
  • Offers social support through guided, community-based walking groups
  • Helps schools develop walk-to-school programs
  • Addresses local policies to increase safe walking routes
Easton’s WalkWorks program started this month with walking groups in the city. Learn more about the program and its routes here:
WalkWorks is now in Easton_TOTLOGO-2
