Lehigh Valley Children’s Centers has immediate openings in one of our high-quality Pre-K Counts classes for 3-year-olds. The location is LVCC at South Mountain, 2002 S. Albert Street in Allentown. Pre-K Counts is a quality pre-kindergarten program to help children with a variety of risk factors coming from low-income households. The program is free for those who qualify.
Children who come to kindergarten without all the skills they need often struggle in school. In Pre-K Counts, children will practice important kindergarten readiness skills to prepare them for the challenges ahead. The curriculum fosters academic and social growth. The small classroom size offers plenty of opportunities for one-on-one learning with the certified teachers.
Classes operate Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. during the school year (September to June). Child care services are available before 8:30 AM and after 1:30 PM for an additional fee (Child Care Works subsidy accepted and LVCC provides scholarship services for those with financial need).
If you know of anyone that Pre-K Counts could benefit, please have them contact Jamie Popp at 610-820-5333, ext. 230 or jpopp@nullLVCConline.org to apply. Our eligibility form is listed on our website at www.lvcconline.org/pre-k-counts. At this time, the form is only in English.
