Ewuradjoa Dawson-Amoah joined us as our Promise Neighborhood of the Lehigh Valley (PNLV) Data Coordinator earlier this summer. Ewuradjoa will help establish our database and provide leadership to ensure standard data collection across all three cities related to our Promise Neighborhoods work.
1. How long have you worked for PNLV and what do you do there?
I joined the Promise Neighborhood team as Data Coordinator in July 2015.
2. How will PNLV use the data collected from the APN and EPN surveys to help local families and children?
PNLV is doing amazing work collecting data on how residents in Easton and Allentown feel about their neighborhoods. This data will allow us to target what issues are affecting a neighborhood and allow us to partner with organizations here in the valley that can help produce effective results for those residents.
3. What in your personal or professional background made you a good fit to work for PNLV?
As a former campaign organizer and paralegal I’ve dealt heavily with data collection and management. I’m also very passionate about improving urban communities. Working as PNLV’s Data Coordinator is a wonderful marriage of both skill and interest.
4. What’s your favorite part of the work you do for PNLV?
Definitely the block parties are a PNLV perk! It’s great to meet the residents and give back in a really fun way.
