Join us on Sunday, February 17 from 2:30 – 4 p.m. at a free reception for the new “Haitian Art from The Rodale Family Collection” exhibit at the Allentown Art Museum. The afternoon will feature free admission to the museum along with the free reception in the Rodale Gallery. Everyone is invited to attend.
This is a great opportunity for residents of Allentown Promise Neighborhood to explore the arts and cultural offerings in their own backyard.
Some background on the exhibit:
The Allentown Art Museum is located at 31 N. Fifth Street in downtown Allentown and is open Wednesdays – Saturdays from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. It offers free admission every Sunday from noon – 4 p.m.
Other exhibits include “Fabulous Flappers,” “Pennsylvania German Textiles,” “The Lerner Contemporary Glass Collection,” and “The Tools” – photos of Amish artifacts by Stephen Althouse.
